The position of Buddha, peace and strength within us

Buddha yoga positionResting Buddha yoga position is precisely what what you need in an endess day: you can’t wait to get home because you have a thousand things to do and, then, the inexorable. You have no more strength to do anything! Or maybe you simply don’t seem to have because the head doesn’t stop a second all day and, as far as you turn on the light at home, turns off the brain and you leave all tensions with the sole desire to “sweet do nothing”. Well … then some yoga practice is just what you need! And, to begin with, the rest: but not any rest, rest of the Buddha. An asana that will will invoke immediately the reclining Buddha of Wat Pho (Thailand). This asana relaxing mind and body and helps keep the inner focus, because the position of Buddha strengthens the third eye, the sixth chakra, forehead, which controls all the hormonal glands and stimulates our ability of intuition.

Run it is easy: just lie down on the right side, resting the right arm to the ground by bending the forearm so that the open hand supports the head with the palm resting on the right side of the face. To find the balance you can rest your left hand on the ground for a few moments, taking then the arm relaxed at your sides with the palms resting on the thigh and fingers pointing at the foot.

Nothing else than relaxing, bringing attention to breath … focus it on the right nostril, linked to solar power! You can stay in this position for ten breaths (up to 20) and then change sides, reling on the left side and focusing on the breath flowing from opposite the left nostril, linked to the Lunar energy!

If, then, would you like to resume all energy starts with the left side, continue to the right and then one round of greetings to the Sun to find the whole charge and energy you need (but keep in mind all energizing effects!).

Lazy? No … energy saving mode on! 😛
